Cute and comfortable.

Was a bit nervous about buying sandals without trying them on but they fit great.

A whole lot of awesomeness on my feet

Seastar - Black Cork...Comfy!

I bought these as I have sweaty feet which slip around in sandals that don't have a strap between toes. The cork lining provides good grip - wish this was an option in more colours though.
Having straps which stand up to getting wet is terrific too.
I have narrow feet & sizing was perfect. Would probably have to buy up a size if my feet were wider because the back strap slides on snugly.
I picked Seastar because I have a sensitive little toe, the straps on Soulmate would likely rub that spot & the back strap on those look like it would be tighter to get on because it crosses closer at the front.
So Seastar for the win for me! I've worn them a number of times and they are very comfortable!

THE MOST COMFORTABLE!!!

These are the most comfortable shoes and so stylish. I have soft skin on feet and blister in most strappy summery shoes. These ones I’ve worn for a week and I’ve not had one iota of an issues. Buy up people’s!

Are the Bokynas suitable for wide feet?

In size 9 the Bokynas are 10cm wide. If your feet are slightly wider, they would still be suitable. However, Bokynas are not suitable for very wide feet.

Are the cords adjustable?

Yes, by moving the side cords, our Bokynas can be made a bit narrower.

With time, do the cords get longer?

No, the cords don't get any bigger when you wear them. They do not wear out but keep their shape. But that also means that you can't "shrink" them.

How thick is the sole?

The sole is 0.8 inch or 2 cm thick at the back of the heel and 0.4 inch or 1 cm thick at the front.

Do the Bokynas have a footbed or insole?

Bokynas do not have a footbed or insole. Nevertheless, all our sandals have flexible soles so you can enjoy nothing but comfort at every step.

Isn't the band between the toes uncomfortable?

The ribbons that the bands are made of are very soft. But don't take our word for it - here is what one of our wonderful customers Alisson says: "The cords fit super, are butter soft, and you don't notice them at all." Alisson purchased a pair of Turquoise Soulmates on 25 May 2019.

Do the bokynas fit on a Hallux Valgus?

As the extent and location of each person's Hallux Valgus will be different, it is difficult to give one answer to suit everyone. We have had previous great feedback from customers who have purchased the SOULMATE model, as the Hallux Valgus fits exactly into the gap between the straps. However, this result cannot be generalized for every unique customer situation.

Do the Bokynas fit at a high instep?

Because the size of each person's arch will be different, it is difficult to give one answer that will suit everyone. If your arch is very high you may not be able to tighten the straps enough to make sure the sandals stay firmly on your feet. However, this result cannot be generalised for every unique customer situation.

Do I have a good grip in the Bokynas?

Yes, you have good grip in the Bokynas. The cords fit well to the foot, so you don't slip around. The sole is also contoured which prevents slipping.

How can I clean the Bokynas?

The Bokynas are colorfast and can be washed by hand with warm water and soap.

Are they suitable for long walks?

Yes, they are comfortable to wear even on long distances. The cords are very soft and do not rub. The sole is pleasantly flexible. There is a light profile which provides good grip.

Bokynas are true to size, choose your regular shoe size. 

If you have between two sizes we recommend to choose the larger shoe size.

The lengths in the size chart refer to the length of the sole, not the length of your feet.
