Our Bokyna sandals are true to size, so choose your regular shoe size to get the best fit. We recommend selecting the larger shoe size if you are between two sizes.

I don't normally wear sandals, these arrived this morning and I'm in love! They're the perfect fit, and so comfy, i've just come back to buy two more pairs.
ES - Las sandalias son estupendas, tan bonitas como se ven en las fotos. Se adaptan muy bien al pie y ni siquiera me han hecho rozaduras. Es como si las hubiera llevado toda la vida. Se pueden mojar sin problema y de momento no parece que se desgasten con facilidad. Además, el equipo de Bokyna es fantástico. Tuve un problema con el envío y me dieron todas las facilidades posibles.
EN - The sandals are great, as nice as they look in the pictures. They fit the foot very well. It's as if I've been wearing them all my life. They can get wet without a problem and so far they don't seem to wear out easily. Also, the Bokyna team is fantastic. I had a problem with the shipping and they made it as easy as possible. I bought my first pair of bokyna one week ago and I wondered why I didn’t do that before!
I have b-union on my left foot and flat feet, these things make the shoes’ choice quite difficult and almost every pair of shoes or sandals give me blisters and pain.
Bokyna are amazing. I’ve never took them off since the day I got them. Extremely comfortable, the strings are not adjustable and this scared me, but they somehow seem made for my feet, they’re soft and they stretch without being too narrow or loose.
I’ve walked more than 12 miles with them on and didn’t have a blister or a sore toe! I’m gonna buy another pair just to have another color.
Please bokyna make more colors with cork :-)

Ho acquistato un numero in più basandomi sulle recensioni che descrivevano il sandalo un po’ stretto. Ho preso il 39 anziché il 38 che uso abitualmente: perfetti!!! Sono davvero soddisfatta!

In size 10 the Bokynas are 3.9" wide. If your feet are slightly wider, they would still be suitable. But, for a wide fit, we recommend our Freedom Collection. The models from this collection are available in a special wide fit to accommodate any size foot.
Yes, by moving the side cords, our Bokynas can be made a bit narrower.
No, the cords don't get any bigger when you wear them. They do not wear out but keep their shape. But that also means that you can't "shrink" them.
The sole is 2 cm thick at the back of the heel and 1 cm thick at the front.
Bokynas do not have a footbed or insole. Nevertheless, all our sandals have flexible soles so you can enjoy nothing but comfort at every step.
The ribbons that the bands are made of are very soft. But don't take our word for it - here is what one of our wonderful customers Alison says: "The cords fit super, are butter soft, and you don't notice them at all." Alison purchased a pair of Turquoise Soulmates on 25 May 2021.
As the extent and location of each person's bunion will be different, it is difficult to give one answer to suit everyone. We have had previous great feedback from customers who have purchased the SOULMATE model, as the bunion fits exactly into the gap between the straps. However, this result cannot be generalised for every unique customer situation.

The Bokynas are colorfast and can be washed by hand with warm water and soap.
